Those who know me know that my car is my pride & joy. I've done my best over the years to preserve the car as best as possible. She has her dings and scrapes but overall looked pretty good for a car with nearly 150,000 miles and 12 years of daily-driver use.
Last night I was leaving a computer client's house and heading North on El Monte Ave. I was stopped at the stop sign at Camino Real when a moment before impact I saw lights in my rear view mirror. I was pushed into the intersection and was able to pull my car to the side of the road to await towing. The passenger quarter panel was pinched into the passenger door and the rear bumper, trunk and canopy were all damaged.
