 Jerry Webb, my uncle passed away last month. I'm sorry to say that I did not know him well. As a youth I may have seen him a couple of times but it was too early for me to remember. In April of 2000 my mother and I were vacationing at my aunt Charlene's Las Vegas home. To everybody's surprise uncle Jerry made an unannounced visit. I took some video of the event. I only have a few minutes of video of my now departed uncle. Please take a moment to view the memorial video.
Jerry's friendliness and mirthful spirit come through in the video. Although I did not ever see him again it was clear that my uncle was a down-to-Earth guy. He seemed quite happy with the little things: visiting with family, chugging beer, smoking a cigarette. I was glad to have spent some time with Jerry. His sense of humor and gentle spirit left an impression on me. Friends and relatives of Jerry will be convening at my mother's house tomorrow.
